The Holocaust and the Jews in Bath

The Jewish population played an important part in the history of Bath and it was pleasing to see that the Holocaust was remembered by so many in the City this year. Jews played an important part in business and the professions here and their history has been well researched in recent years.

Though a grant from the Lottery is possible, we need funds to get the restoration under way. Why not commemorate the Holocaust by making a donation. The Treasurer’s address is No 5 The Brow, Church Road, Combe Down, Bath BA2 5JL

A New Roof

The Prayer House roof has now been restored – do have a look if you are passing.
The restoration has been possible by generous donations. We need more funds to enable us to continue the work.

I’ve decided to switch from using bespoke software on my Mac to create the website – instead I’m now using WordPress. This has the advantage that the site can be updated by other people which takes the pressure off me! I hope you like the new look.
